How we got here
Gitens started in 2019 with a simple observation: most engineering teams were spending more time fighting their infrastructure than building their product. Cloud costs were unpredictable, deployments were manual and risky, and the gap between what AI could do and what teams were actually using was enormous.
We set out to fix that — not with off-the-shelf tooling, but with hands-on engineering work tailored to each client's stack and goals. Over the years, that approach earned us long-term partnerships with fintech companies, telecom operators, SaaS businesses, and enterprise teams across the Middle East, Europe, and beyond.
Today we're a team of 40+ engineers, architects, and strategists. We still operate the same way we always have: get deep into the problem, build something that actually works, and stay accountable for the outcome.

Engineering first
We don't sell slides. Every recommendation we make is grounded in what we'd actually build and run ourselves. If we wouldn't stake our own infrastructure on it, we won't propose it to a client.
Radical ownership
We take responsibility for outcomes, not just deliverables. When something isn't working, we say so early and fix it. We don't hide behind scope documents when a client's system is struggling.
Compounding knowledge
Every project makes us better at the next one. We document what we learn, train our team continuously, and share knowledge through the Gitens Academy — because the industry gets better when more engineers know this stuff.
Long-term thinking
We optimise for the relationship, not the invoice. That means telling clients when they don't need something, building systems that are easy to hand off, and staying available long after the engagement ends.
